A useful set of records is found in the voters' lists which include all householders by 1916. Most if not all of the Island coverage survives though is patchy, and n and unsure if microfilmed.
Another set of records with a great deal to offer is at the PRO and these are the Rating Valuation lists from around 1894, arranged by Local Authority.
