Thanks Frances for all your hard work. I had a Will summmary but yours helped fill in some more names.
For information I think the unamed son and Strenaby heir in that Will may have been.
John Quine (probably born around 1720?) buried Braddan 27 Feb 1803.
Married 27 Oct 1741 (recorded in Onchan register as at Braddan)
Isobel Creech baptised 16 Feb 1718 at Braddan, buried Braddan 30 Jan 1798.
The mystery and question remaining is:
Was Alice Cashin als Lewn?
the same person as Alice Cowin alias Quine alias Lewn
Will confirms Alice Cashin was sister in law to Daniel Quine, but it could have been a sister of Alice and there was a Cashin family at Strenaby around that time [Will 1739-3 E d CASHIN William mariner late of Strenaby d 1735]
I think the answer to the identity of Alice may be elsewhere.
Thanks Jim that was a coincidence with great timing... if possible please send a copy of her daughters Will to quine.research [at] gmail.com
Regards
Bill
