Thanks for the info. I am already discovering this. I have the Book of Manx Surnames here which definitely helps figure out some variations in spellings. The “Bridson” name also conjures up several variations as well, all open to interpretation by the transcribers. You should see what my Coole/Cooile/Cooil line brings up as well.
