Thanks Jackie. I didn't know about that. How sad to have lost their daughter that way and how wonderful that your Grandfather saved Alfred's wife's life. I mentioned it to my Mum and she did know something about it. Thanks for posting. I have a website you can find by searching for "Mylchreest Weebly" it has Alfred's ancestry on it. He was the son of John Robert Mylchreest and Frances Arnold. Alfred was in India in the army and later got frostbite in WW1. If you want to contact me there is a contact form on the website.
