If it is of any interest, I believe the 'Watt (s)' family came to the Isle of Man from Cornwall UK as tin-miners, to be employed in the lead-mining industry.
By the 1950's one of their subsequent family members owned a substantial motor sales & repair business on the Isle and was sadly killed, in an early UK passenger
air-crash during 1958 on a scheduled flight to the mainland which came down nr. Bolton UK, details of which can be found here;
