Thank you Eric for that information. John Pearson did in fact come to Canada with his oldest sons before Margaret and the young ones. His name is mentioned in a book about Buckingham, Quebec. It states "John Pearson from England
with his sons: John, Thomas, William, Daniel and Angus settling on lot 2 in 7th range, in the year 182?". I found it strange that the book says he was from England, but maybe he was. Maybe he went to America first then came up to Canada. I'm still trying to find the Passenger list for them. Of the grandchildren mentioned in the will, "August" is actually Angus.
