Thank you so much for your response Frances, and I do apologise for my ignorance, however, how is anyone going to learn if they don't ask, at least I am trying to seak the truth rather than spread this rediculous notion. However, i must add that i am a little disappointed, being interested in Manx folklore, the vampire story is a far more interesting one than keeping dogs away!!!
