Hello Una, this is what I have/know of those family members you wrote about:
Thomas Cubbon b. 1831, Arbory (parents Thomas Cubbon/Catherine Kewley) m. Margaret Clugston b. 14.01.1838 d. 1918 (parents as stated Thomas Clugston and Catherine Woodworth.
Children: Robert b. 15.08.1859 lost at sea with father 21.03 1873. Catherine-my birthdate for her are the same as yours but there are varying dates that appear of grave stones etc.Thomas (my grandfather) date as you have written, he moved to Liverpool and married Violet Mary Patterson. William b. 1866 ( I have no confirmed information about him) James b. 1868 and d. 1916 on the Isle-no confirmed evidence of marriage and/or children. John b. 1871 did indeed move to Liverpool to live with his uncle Thomas and wife Catherine. John married a Mary Ellen Meredith in 1896. George b. 1873, he married an Eleanor Quine and they lived in St Johns

I cannot confirm an Eleanor in the line of Thomas and Margaret.
