a quick check of the 1739 presentments confirm that Joney Quine had a child (never named in presentments) by Patrick Cain - Patrick was noted 3 times - first in Patrick then a little later having moved to Ballaugh and again a little later having moved to Malew - still avoiding his censure it appears - however I can't find the baptism of child nor any obvious burial nor marriage of Pat to Joney tho Joney was noted in 1740 in Malew as having had a child 2 yrs ago.
