Somewhere in the maze of messages I saw that you are in Victoria, BC just across the water from me in Vancouver.

Recently I got off on a tangent following some Kermodes/Raisbecks/Gellings from IOM-England-USA and wondered if they were a limb of your tree.

Based on what I found, Margaret Kermode d/o John and Margaret (Kneale) Kermode married Francis Gelling (s/o John and Jane Raisbeck) in Liverpool 1883. They emigrated to the US shortly thereafter (1884). I have a daughter Emaline born in Colorado in 1891 and Margaret dying there in 1893. I have Francis (and his mother, Jane Gelling) dying in Wiscosin in 1898 and 1899 respectively and his son George dying from a gunshot wound in 1899. No information on what happened to Emaline after the death of her father and brother (when she was age 8 or 9) until her marriage in Texas in 1933 and her death there in 1965.

Would be interested in knowing if these Gellings are in your tree and/or if I have any errors in my trackings
