The James Skillicorn who died in 1831 was the son of Thomas Skillicorn and Catherine Kewley, baptized at Lonan, October 19, 1749. He married, May 28, 1898, Catherine Kewley., who was buried at Lonan, June 22, 1844, age 79, widow, Skinscoe. They apparently had no surviving children. I don't think he is a candidate for the James who married Joney Looney, but, of course, given the dates, it is possible, since he was close to 50 at his marriage to Catherine Kewley.
