Thanks for your offer to search on my behalf. In fact, I'm also located in Australia (Sydney) and think I've covered the Victorian records pretty well, though without success. Naturally, I'd welcome anything you come across, but please don't expend too much effort for me.

I think someone has already mentioned that the passenger lists are still available at Vic. Archives. I tried to include a link here, but my message keeps getting rejected 'due to the presence of "naughty" language.' I can't see anything in the url that looks offensive. Am I breaking some rule about including links? Anyway, if you google "public records victoria" you'll get to the Public Records Office homepage which has a link to "Passenger lists".
