just found my copy of deeds - the earliest name for house containing my flat is Headlands but this is c.1920
possibly Traiefogogue (or similar) house was the original name for the property put up by Radcliffe and bought by Crowe before he too became financially stretched - I'm assuming that as in Radcliffe's sale the plot is split into 3 lots that the small terrace had been built tho the seaward end house does differ from other two in several details and also has the bulk of the land so possibly Radcliffe built the 1st two, Crowe the 3rd, meaning to further develop the plot (room for another 2 probably)
aprl 1896 Jon Stevenson Moore sells plot to Thomas Radcliffe builder for £250
June 1896 Radcliffe runs into financial fifficuties - lots sold via coroner + house accepted by IoM Banking Co as part payment
Aug 1897 house sold to Frederick Crowe builder Peel (+ wife Elizth Ann)
July 1910 Frederick Crowe sells (to pay off creditors) to Robt George Shannon (chartered accountant, Douglas)
Sept 1910 Shannon puts house up for auction
