Hi Yussir
I think a break away from hunting down Quayle connections must be a good thing, yesterday I found "Aunty Mary" as we knew her, she married Thomas William Quayle in 1918, and Edgar (baptised as Thomas Edgar Quayle) in Kirk Michael in 1920; he and Mum were born within a very close period of each other. Then went on to find a Mary Ann Edgar born 1879 in Montrose, Forfarshire, Scotland, and pre her marriage was stopping with an aunt and uncle - guess where - Brighton Villa and listed as a neice to William James Fairley and his wife Lucy. It seems he may have been connected to the Railway Hotel, not too sure yet, is this the hotel on the same side as the playing fields?
