How are Jane+George connected to Robert? Is it maybe a sister?

I'm really desperate to find the IoM connection as I'm sure there is one.
Otherwise why would my grandmother go to the IoM every year to visit relatives? Unfortunately, don't know what sort of relatives...
As my mother remembers, it used to be a great thing, planned well in advance.
