Hello John, we corresponded quite some time ago concerning Paul Creer of Onchan. I have now found a Frederick William Creer b. 1858/59 in Douglas, Mother Maria Anne Head who in 1863 married George Roberts of Douglas. Following the marriage Frederick William was known by the name of his step father reverting to Creer on his marriage in 1897 to Annie McLeod Black of Pt. St. Mary, Widow of his half brother Edmond George Head Roberts. He was buried on 23 April 1924 in Rushen. I was wondering if you might know anything at all about his natural father.
