Since I last looked at the "old" IGI I see they are now diverting the search to the "new" IGI if you include a batch number. Because of this apparent deletion of the batch number search option on the old IGI they have also stymied Hugh Wallis's website which allowed one to search a whole parish by batch number, omitting the Church members' submissions.
If, for example, I want to look over a specific period for all the children of John Skillicorn in Lonan I can no longer do so without grinding through the extremely slow "new" IGI at dozens of irrelevant entries (Lonan didn't include the mothers' names in bapts in earlier records).

At the moment the new IGI is painfully slow as well as producing "scatter" results.
