I mentioned the baby having been born in the Isle of Man because I was trying to suggest that William and Isabella Anderson were probably in Castletown with William's garrison (or regiment ?---not sure of the correct term) when Sophia Anderson was born, and that when the Anderson family moved on to their next posting, they took Margaret Gilmore with them as their servant. I wasn't suggesting that the baby was Margaret's !
