Look on the archives of this site and you will see that Sarah Moore-Clague inherited Arragon-Moar from her Uncle. I recall that mother was asked to tea by her grandmother Mrs Moore-Clague who was thought (probably without any justification)anxious to promote a dynastic link betweeen the Clagues and Moore-Clagues. My grandfather's property of Ballaquaggan adjoined Arragon along the parish boundary. Preumably Sarah might not have inherited the farm,nor I have come into being, had her uncle chosen to marry my mother! This story typifies gossip on the one side, and dynastic ambition on the other.
