Nigel thanks for that info. But can I persist? What year did the property pass to the Bacon family originally? The Bealby-Wright name certainly does not sound Manx. The Tate family seemed to marry into Manx families from what I have found out so far, and there is no connection to the B-W name.
Was the property tenanted from an English Landlord, or a Manx Landlord?
