I believe he is the son of Patrick.

To prove or disprove - look at Liber Vast & Liber Assed on your CD Rom.

Look at K. Pat; for year 1768. Dalby & Alia Dalby Treens. It should show death of Patrick and William inheriting.

Then look at 1790. Should show death of William & William (junior) inheriting

If no entry for 1768 & 1790 go forward from the next five years and you will probably find the entries
