All parish registers were placed at Museum for filming (and some conservation work) - I understand a few have been returned to the parish at their instance.
There is NO extant patrick register for the period prior to 1714 when the new church was built under Bishop Wilson at Knockaloe - until this period the parishes of Patrick and German shared St Peters in Peel - it is likely that seperate registers were kept eg a couple of entries in the German register along lines 'this should be in Patrick' can be found - the LDS reference I think is some sealing for the dead or similar arcane rite practised by that church - generally I find such entries to be highly questionable and generally inaccurate being based on guesswork in many cases
