I've mangaged to trace my line back to birth of William Kelly, Patrick 1717.

Thanks to the priceless work done by Frances on her CD Rom.

His father is listed as Thomas Kelly.The IGI have recorded the birth of Thomas Kelly, Patrick, about 1691. FILM NUMBER 447822.

Frances...you state in your preamble that the original Patrick Register has not yet been deposited at the Museum.

Is this still the case?
If so...why not????

How did the I.G.I. manage to record 17th century details?

I'd love to know who Thomas married...just recorded as Mrs Thomas Kelly by IGI.
