I want to thank you for finding the son of JOHN CAINE, who did our family tree in 2003, he was the researcher for all our Isle of Man genealogy for ADAM CAINE, which he acutally went back to WILLIAM CAINE 1600, and even found out about the O'CATHAIN data, which in 1950's many of our family members applied for DAR, and this is where the quest from the BIBLE which is now being researched for, started the genealogy of wanting to know about PATRICK CAINE AND ALICE CAINE, WHO CAME IN AT AUGUSTA COUNTY, VIRGINIA, USA. I stated the Bible may be found and I know surely the research of all family members and the WORK OF JOHN CAINE IN 2003 CANNOT BE WRONG. If you say he helped many and included those who visited the Isle and his own tree I am sure this man could have been knowledgeable of how to research a tree, which he did ours. I am still praying the elderly family member has the Bible, and they are looking for it ASAP, they are both great in age. and ill at this time. I e-mailed the address you gave FRANCES on the board and I am awaiting to hear from Mr. MIKE CAINE. I went to his web site and wrote to him, I pray he still has all the data. We have it, I go over and over it, and research it out again and again, but until the Bible is found I suppose we have NOTHING, but I shall say again my family would not lie and would not go to such detail and blood and sweat to follow a fable, surely this JOHN CAINE did his job in researching properly for us, even though he was not a genealogist , each of you are amatuers, which help and look up and go to PARISH records and etc and etc for all peoples of Manx descent and surely all of you cannot be wrong in your research, this board was set up with mandates of how the research would be done and Liz and her daughter, I know, go above and beyond with treks, to graveyards to get epitaphs off the headstones of dates and whom and burial plots, takes pictures and works very hard for the postees, even as AVERIL, JEAN, and so many others who helped break down her BRICK WALL, evenso now she has to prove what was found comes together, our data came together until the marriage of an ELLNOR STOEN MARRIAGE TO ADAM CAIN, FRANCES has e-mailed me two days ago, which I value her expertise, for she has an OXFORD degree and is very knowlegeable,and has done works of MANX hsitory that no other historian could match, but I still must go on the ancestry data of the Bible, my family again would not have gone to such the extent they have and I if we x were chasing a fable. Mrs. Coakley states, "That she still feels we are of IRISH descent and until the BIBLE is found which suspects will be in the 1800 period and not earlier.", Which I do not know what time period it is from, evenso what data has been told and seen by the most elderly, I am speaking of those who are 96 and 94 in ages, and in their 80's, they there were the ones who had the Bible and the Bible was in the hands of the mother of the elderly relative I now am awaiting to see if indeed it is in a box in his home, the researching is going on daily, his mother had the BIBLE in 1959, and I never saw the Bible, true, but I was gone 20 years from this area, and never pursued the full tree until 1982,I started my research when I was 16 years old, my genealogy hound blood started very, very early, my dates with my husband was grave yards and court houses, so I have been on this hunt a very long time, 55 years of research I did on our tree on this side of the pond and begain the other later and I know it just cannot be wasted because JOHN CAINE WAS NOT A GENEALOGIST, he was apparently a profficient amatuer who loved what he was doing, and if he is anything like our CAINS, we do it right or don't do it at all.. So I believe JOHN CAINE, had to a man of that nature also, for he found the non-cuperative will of ANNE CORLETT, he did his homework, he found our Patrick and perhaps, yes, land deeds he did not search, but our land deeds here show PATRICK HAD LANDS. PLENTY OF LANDS IN AUGUSTA COUNTY VIRGINIA AND ANSON COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA AND SOUTH CAROLINA, so even if JOHN CAINE did not research the land deeds, he did all the PARISH RECORDS. WHICH I AM SURE WAS NOT EASY IN 2003, for the board only began I believe by data I researched in 1998, so I know this was no fluke. We are going to continue to honor the findings of JOHN CAINE and when I hear from his son Mike, if he writes back, I would love to see all the messages and work he did for our elderly famiy member. all the data. I believe all the work could not be wrong, they may be some gaps that have not come together or different a wife, but we had all this years ago and PARISH RECORDS were the standard, and I feel after reading your message today that JOHN CAINE was no fly by nighter, he did honest , hard , labouring research for those who asked for his help, and his son being a business man, I believe there was mention JOHN CAINE was too a businessman, they know the accuracy of doing business and would have applied that same discipline to his message board help for his postees, and I do legal work and I make sure I dot the ( i's) and cross the (t's).

So I will await to hear from Mike Caine, and leave his father's work for our family as the best amatuer researcher who did an excellent job, and when the Bible is found I will share that data and then if it needed I will ask Mrs. Lewthwaite if she would like the job of researching the ADAM CAINE's TWO MARRIAGE's OF TWO CHILDREN, PATRICK'S AND FIND OUT EXACTLY WHO OUR PATRICK IS, BUT TO ME IS THE SON OF ADAM CAINE OUR MANX ANCESTOR came to AMERICA and died on this soil and is buried in BLACKVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA, USA.
