The IGI has a couple of listings for Wake on the IOM , a marriage from church records 22/7/1833 for John Wake to Elinor Westwick in Santon, LDS members postings for birth of Mary Wake in 1808 in Onchan , this mMary's marriage to Edward Christian 1826 in Onchan , and a conflicting posting of birth of Mary in 1821 married to same Edward Christian. None of these people on the 1841 census on the IOM. Brian Lawsons burial site shows a Frances Wake 25/12/1798 , she is shown as a widow , then 4 burials in the 1950's and 1960's. There MAY be some connection to the one you are looking for , there is a possibility that the name should be Wade.
