I can't see any O'Hoyt's on the Isle of Man, although a Roger HOIT was christened at Braddan, Isle of Man in 1732. Also a Thomas HOYDE christened at St Georges in Douglas, Isle of Man in 1794.
The surname of HOYT seems to have been very common in Ireland in the 1800s. HAIGHT is another possible variation on the spelling.
