Hi, Unfortunately I just have a modern copy of the marriage certificate. They were married by W.Drury, vicar in the presence of Thomas Radcliffe, Jane Creer and Hudson Horsley in Bradden on 13th February 1848. I would guess that Jane Creer would be Matron of honour and either Hudson Horsley or Thomas Radcliffe were best man. Unfortunately I hit a bit of a dead end here. SB Moffatt does not appear on the 1851 census although his wife and children do so I suspect he died but I haven't found a death certificate. I would love to know what happened to him and also where he came from but at the moment I'm stalled.
