Pat you have found them. Thank you so much. I was looking in 1925 as Arthur said he was only 15 when he went to Canada with his brother William?? It looks like william went alone in 1922 and Arthur followed on a few years later. His father was William Beecroft and his mother Alice Beecroft nee Haydock, from Blackburn. Arthur seemed a bit of an Adventurer panning for gold etc. i have tried searching for info about Barford but not finding anything helpfull. Do you know if the 1925 and 1930 census is available online for Canada? Again thank you for your help and guidance. Pauline
