I have some information on the family of Thomas & Anne Lace but will need to find it.
Going from memory I think Thomas was a son of Thomas & Jane Caley.
If you are searching for Moughtins try also Moughten, Moughton, Moughtyn, Mughtin, Mughton, Mughtian etc.
It has been spelt so many ways over the years but I believe all are related and trace back to the Jurby/Ballaugh area of the Island.
Have you found the family on the 1881 census at 22 Jib Lane, Peel?
