Thank you so much for your reply. You are correct about Kirk Patrick. But I am not sure about the name of his wife. The history papers that I received were from a file of my greatgrandfather's. The information I have about Alexander is limited. I know that he married an Elizabeth McCarrey(or so I thought), She was born 1830 on Mar 17 and came to America and lived and died in Illinois at a young age. Can you shed a bit of light on this marriage for me? I was hoping to find someone who knew where he was buried and any possible pictures anyone had of the headstone...??? I thought William stayed in IOM and Maria and thomas came to America in the late 60's early 1870's. Are you able to help me in my research? Thank you,
