I've got to admit, this is the first time I've wrote something like this before, although this isn't something new to me.

I did mention to the Isle of Man Family History Society on taking them around Victoria Road Prison in Douglas earlier this year, of the strange happenings & moving shadows I've seen, especially in the old segregation wing and that my unusual findings were backed up by various staffs claims of incidents/happenings and lately and most strangely, by a film crew who (I kid you not) were producing a horror movie!
But that was the old Victoria Road prison, whilst Jurby Prison is a new purpose built and modern establishment that has improved facilities and conditions for staff and prisoners alike.
Unfortunately, I'll keep tight lipped for the moment until I have authorization or even brave enough to do so, but I've seen and witnessed some strange and unusual events in a certain area within the new prison (as also other staff) that is somewhat hard to explain.

I can't tell you as to how uncomfortable and apprehensive I am in putting this on here and especially as to how open I feel to criticism, but I would really like to know (regardless of the feedback), of any information regards to strange happenings at the old Jurby airfield/Barracks etc and especially of any deaths that occurred before the prison was built.
