I am doing family history research on the Dyson family of Huddersfield, and have come across a relative named "Law William Thompson", born 1881 in Huddersfield.

I am wondering if this is the same Law Thompson that you mentioned in your posts on this forum last year regarding the "Ellan Vannin" (found through a google search). You said that both he and your father Wilbert Hall hailed from Huddersfield, and were good friends.

Given the uniqueness of his name, and the Huddersfield origin, I am pretty sure this is the same Law that I'm researching.

I was just wondering if you remember anything of interest that your Father said about him? Would love to add any anecdotes to his record.

One other matter of curiosity is your last name Beevers. Law Thompson's mother was Jane Beaver (and that can be spelt many ways.) Possible connection or coincidence?
