Hi Everyone,

Today I have solved a few issues with William Lamont Douglas. I have turned up a copy of the death certificate for his son, Edwin Douglas.

The certificate indicates that he was born in June 1840 in Cheshire, England, not IOM, and confirms his parents as William Lamont Douglas and Susan Chapman. So I am now looking to find Williams Birth & Marriage details in and around Cheshire. Any help would be appreciated. Not having any luck so far.

Still trying to resolve the death issue in Queensland of William Donald Douglas whose parents are shown as William Lamont and Elizabeth Unknown. I do know that Susan died in 1870 and in 1885 William was elected as an Alderman on the Gunnedah Shire Council, so there is every chance that he married again. I will keep looking.
