Many yrs ago I became interested in IOM genealogy when helping a friend who had 2 Cain(e) lines both with the family legend of connection to Hall Caine.
Over the yrs I have come in contact with many other Cain(e)s with the same family story.
So far I have only found one who is related to Hall Caine.

I don't know anything about Elinor and James Callow. I will follow with interest any further notes re her and her Cain(e) line.
