In researching my IOM ancestry, I came across an ancestor called Philip Francis Le Glace ( Le Glas ). The family don't look to be native. He and another Le Glace ( Louis Clement ) seem to have arrived in the IOM around 1790 and then disppear again around 1820. Has anyone else ever encountered this family ? and could they tell me where they came from or any details about them.
