Thank you Frances. It would seem that some time between Feb 1674/5 & 1709 a portion of Balladda was sold to the (as yet unidentified) parents of Jane Kermot/Kermode.
Jane was an orphan, aged about 12 years in 1709. She was living in the household of John Leece at Ballaleece. I have a hunch that her mother was Elin Leece, John's sister.
My correction. Balladda is in the treen of Dalby.
Silvester Kelly was also paying two shillings rent for a portion of Knockuihy in the treen of Alia Dalby, Pat Quoils paying 28 shillings; & 6d. & Ann Bell paying 4 shills; & 6d.
Alies Kelly & Wm; Kelly her husband were paying 16shills; & 2d and Wm; Cains was paying the same amount for Kerrow Koal also in Alia Dalby
