Joy Kinred-Deeming was my step-mother, she married my father, Walter Charles Dudley Hardy in December 1957. They later parted and I lost touch with her and her son John, my step-brother, as a result. I am only 2.5 years older than John. My father died in 1997. I was interested to see your remarks about John, and I will drop a note to him, but before that I wanted to know how you arrived at the conclusion that Joy had died in or around 1983. I have searched for her/news of her over years and have found nothing. It is not something I have been able to lay to rest.
