Thanks, Donna. I appreciate you looking at other spellings. When they first appeared on records in the U.S. the name was also sometimes spelled Laslie. The given name Andrew has also appeared a couple of times. Maybe I shouldn't give up on the Manx connection just yet.....Evelyn
