there is an unusual entry for a thomas Kewin in Ballaugh in 1851 in household of daniel stephen at Ballacurnkiel - age 9 born douglas orphan - suspect might be s/o Edward Kewin + Eleanor Higgins - can be found in 1841 census (thomas 4m)at atholl court - eleanor is I think dead by 1851 and edward a lodger with another shoemaker in st nelson st without Thomas
