Correction - sorry. I've just been looking at the Findmypast site again, and realised that I had called their level 2 the "index" in my answer to Joan. Their first level of searching (free) gives a list under Name, Birth Year, Age, S ex, Registration District, County.
Although you can keep refining this down by Place of residence (keyword/s): and Birth place, there are traps with this, as I just wrote in answer to Eric.

FMP next offer "Household Transcript" (10 credits) and then "Original census image" (30 credits). It was the Household transcript I looked at for Joan.
