Thanks for checking, Donna. You have found the William Cowley (d. 1885) & wife Ann Shimmin (d.1893) of Shirley's two transcripts.

We probably won't know about the other Ann unless someone looks up LDS film no.0106510 for will number 50.

I just noticed something - COWLEY, William 1890 Pee 50 0106510 - the same ref! Perhaps this is the answer. A double will, which went to probate when William died? She might have died many years earlier.
Just guessing.
