there is AFAIK no entry in 1841 indicated as abbeylands - the desination means an area that pays abbey rent as opposed to Lords rent - the most usual designation is for a quite large area on Onchan/Lonan border - if you use the name as a search in Onchan/lonan parish names on manxnotebook you will find the names of the individual quarterlands which are generally those used in the census
