Lorraine, have you tried "Manx Lawsons & Related Families" which is the database we were referring to earlier in the thread?
I asked in December for the link to this to be fixed. ("The page cannot be found.")
If it isn't just my computer, this file has been inaccessible to everyone for at least 4 weeks.
Worse still, it is only a matter of time before links to Brian's other databases (burials, births, marriages, etc.) will start failing if no-one is looking after these.
I have been saying that if the committee cannot attend to these, would they please allow Ian Radcliffe access to fix the broken link, and to add the new will transcripts and other data, including the large number of births which were on Brian's old website but are missing from the FHS site because they disappeared during the transfer.
As my requests to the FHS are falling on deaf ears, are there any local members of the IOMFHS who value Brian's databases who could complain to the committee about not repairing the broken link or maintaining these? Seeing that you are on the spot and I am out of sight, out of mind - you might have better luck?
Many thanks.
Sue
