Hugh would appear to be s/o Ewan Cowley + Cath Lawson (Euan often anglicised as Hugh and later confused with welsh Evan in transcription) - I suspect you will find Cath Lawson on Brian Lawsons database (www.iomfhs.im - follow research link) - Euan buried Andreas 18650502 age 82 - in 1841 census an ag lab at loudas and probably s/o Thomas Cowley + Margt Corlett bapt Lezayre 17840410
