Have you had a chance to go to the Manx Notebook, if you do as stated go under the PARISHES and BALLAUGH, there is much data there about the family wills, I have called today, 8 CHURCHES, PARISHES, and found not one VICARS to speak too, only recordings, FINALLY I called the post office in BALLAUGH, for I had requested on the board quite some time ago about the BALLAUGH church registra to get the grave plot number of Philip CAIN , which I did not get a response from the board, so I took it upon myself today to find out what I needed, and when I get there I shall take pictures of his grave, if WE CAN FIND IT, the POST OFFICE CLERK gave me the name of the VICAR of the new BALLAUGH church a MR. Rogers, whereby she looked in the telephone book and could not find a number for me, so she shall undertake the finding of the VICAR of old BALLAUGH church, as you see, you must much of your trekking through whatever source you can find and she was so kind to help. The BALLAUGH church still holds sevices and CORLETTS , MANY, MANY the clerk told me today live there, a CORLETT PARADISE, so I will stay at a BED AND BREAKFAST there, I had planned that anyway, but we will stay a month, if more, if it takes longer to get what I need to finish the CORLETT line. We are retiring soon and want to make the Isle for 6 months and USA for 6 months for living, our health has not been well though for 3 years, off and on maladies, but we are all on the mend finally, workiing full time, contract legal, yet tis will be what we want. I am glad I got ahold of the clerk at the post office in BALLAUGH, she was most gracious to help. She is going to give my phone number to the VICAR of the new BALLAUGH church, which I stated if he has difficulty in calling the USA, then I shall check back and call again, for I have a ATT callling anywhere, anytimes for as long as you like for one rate, put this on when coming over 3 years ago, a wonderful telephone plan for EUROPE. Well, as stated so much to do, must go to work, and keep researching, happy hunting.
