Dear Mr. Corlett,
I didn't fully write the full word, forgive me, it's the MANX NOTEBOOK, on this website, FRANCES COAKLEY, under the care of the FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY, has complied so much data about the ISLE of MAN, it is called and ELECTRONIC COMPENDIUM, a collection of many historical facts and histories and wills, and diverse works. She has worked tirelessly it appears to have accomplished this mass of data. I went into the COMPENDIUM last night under the PARISHES and WILLS and found so much information again on the CORLETTS . WILLIAM CORLETT, THOMAS CORLETT. There is data on the LACE family. You click on the MANX NOTEBOOK at the top of this website, and go under whatever you feel like you want to research. I have found the PARISH data most helpful and stories, histories. ship manifest of those MANX who left the Isle and on and on and on. There is so much data and history, it is a gold mine and I have thanked Ms.Coakley for being kind to me with the full disk of the Manx history. I want to meet her when we do arrive and return her kindness to me. She seems to give so much time to help so many. THE LACE FAMILY INFORMATION IS THERE ALSO, YOU WERE ASKING ABOUT, I READ IT LAST NIGHT. THERE IS INFORMATION ABOUT THE BALLA MOAR. The information you asked for I believe from another postee. If you have time the ELECTRONIC COMPENDIUM, OR THE MANX NOTEBOOK as some say, has so much it would take quite some time to go through all the data. I am still working to finish all the data and I havehad the disk for a very long time. Do go there, and glean, you will find much to help you there I believe, I love reading the various entries about the MANX life, MARRIAGE , HOW THEY LIVED, ABOUT THE PARISHES AND STRAYS, SHIIPS MANIFEST, SMALL POX , THAT TOOK SO MANY LIVES, MISSING CHURCH RECORDS , MANX MEN LOST AT SEA AND A BODY WASHING UP MONTHS LATER, WILLS, BIRTH AND DEATH INFORMATION.. COURT PROCEEDINGS, AND ON AND ON AND ON. IT IS WONDERFUL, I can't stop when I get into it. I stay up for hours researching from it and just enjoying learining about the MANX people. Tis late, so I must go, but please research it and you will find much information and data you can use in finding your line. Please excuse caps, not screaming, just so excited when I talk about the ELECTRONIC COMPENDIUM.
Kindly yours,
Mrs. ROSA
