I thought he had a son who predeceased him. Didn't know about a daughter. But I could be wrong. Not sure where I got that from.
For what its worth, I share his grandparents in my ancestry. Not worked out by me, but a cousin who has done extensive work. Francis Wilkins, who wrote about the slave traders, was impressed, as it was the first claimed connection that she had seen that was backed up. Oh, perhaps I am answering Paul Wade's question here.
