How great to get your message. It seems, like me, you are a direct descendant of John (b.1842)and Thirza (b.Plymstock 1866)Corkell?

Years of research have failed to get me back beyond John Corkill (Kalkhill on his marriage certificate) who married Ann Phillipps in Penzance in January 1802, but I have tracked forward from 1802 quite well.

Havent looked at family tree for a while, but just thinking quickly now and as your name isnt Corkell, does this mean your (great?) grandmother was John and Thirza's daughter Elsie?

I know there is a link between John (who married in 1802) and the IOM but havent been able to find/prove it.
