There have been answers on this board about Thomas Corkill, bapt 1813 Lonan, in 2003, 2004, and earlier this year.

They could be a Maughold family, but until someone looks at the Lonan parish register on film to see whether the 1810 marriage entry records that the groom was from Maughold, and at the baptism to see whether any additional details are given, or looks at some of the Thomas Corkill wills which might mention a son Thomas "beyond seas", you appear to be at a dead end.
