Did this informatiion come from the IGI? I just looked there for Margaret Lewis daughter of William Lewis and only one of the five results is an extraction from actual parish records. This gives the place of baptism on 23 Oct 1791 as Kirk Michael. She could have been born in the village itself or somewhere in the parish of Michael. The other 4 results, 3 of which mention the place you quote, have been submitted by church members and we have no way of telling what or how reliable the source of the information is. The name is not familiar to me personally, and in my ignorance I would think it looked more Irish than Manx, if they use Cronk too.
